Amish Originals Furniture Co.: Where's the Fire?

No matter your age, there is something about a fire engine!

On your next trip into Amish Originals Furniture Co., check out our old school reproduction tin fire truck fleet.  The details are cool - right down to ladders, hoses, and spotlights and they are a perfect nostaligic accent for home or office.

Several different fleet models to choose from and check out our metal fire chief helmet to complete the collection.

Some Uptown Westerville Nostalgia:

2010 is the 150th anniversary of the Westerville Fire Department - that means Westerville has had a fire department since 1860, the year Abraham Lincoln was first elected president.

The city's first fire truck was purchased in 1923.

We appreciate WFD's years of service to our community. To learn more about the Westerville Fire Department Anniversary, click here.

The picture of Westerville's first fire truck was taken in 1923 on E. Main Street in Uptown Westerville and is courtesy of Westerville Public Library.  The group is standing in front of a water tower that is no longer a part of the Uptown Westerville skyline, but is at the parking lot that is now next to the Amish Originals Furniture Co. warehouse (where the mural is).
